Salted Caramel Smoothie

READY IN 10 MINUTES

POV: you’re in the mood for something sweeeet!

I have been loving whipping this smoothie up at home recently. The perfect pick me up when I’m looking for something to satisfy my sweet tooth. My top tip when it comes to smoothies is to save your almost-overripe bananas and freeze them – they add the creamiest of textures whilst also helping to keep your smoothie cold.

I hope you love this one!

The Recipe

Ingredients

Smoothie:

200 ml of Almond milk

1 Date

1/2 tsp of Cinnamon

A pinch Pink Himalayan salt

1 Frozen banana

1 tbsp of Almond butter

(Ice, optional)

Chocolate drizzle:

A few squares of chocolate, melted

Directions

Start by putting all of the smoothie ingredients together in your blender and whizzing together until smooth.

Next, melt your chocolate squares into a smooth consistency, and using a warm spoon, drizzle into the sides of a tall glass.

Pour your smoothie into the glass, top with optional ice and enjoy!
