READY IN 40 MINUTES

We are all trying to eat a bit more plant based in my household, but sometimes we just crave a nice sticky chicken wing. So I went and found the #vegan alternative and do you know what I now don’t mind if I don’t ever have a sticky chicken wing again. ENJOY and don’t forget to share your recreations using #madeleineshaw xx

The Recipe

Ingredients

1 cauliflower cut into florets

Batter-
5 tbsp of flour

2 tbsp of tomato concentrate
2 tbsp of maple syrup
1 tbsp of rice vinegar
1 tbsp of grated ginger
2 crushed garlic cloves
1/2 tsp of cayenne
2 tbsp of tamari
1 tbsp of sesame oil

Directions

Whisk the batter ingredients together in a bowl. Preheat the oven to 200C.

Dip each floret into batter then place on a baking tray spaced apart. I used two!

Bake for 20mins.

Mix the sauce ingredients together in a bowl. Coat the cauliflower in the sauce and bake for 20 mins.

I served them with avocado, refried black beans, tamari, sautéed mushrooms and avocado on a gf wrap!
